One of our book discussion participants recommended this author to me - he's a big mystery fan and loves the witty one-liners of Ford. I found it a little clunky with a take-it-or-leave-it storyline, but it was good to branch out from my normal reading genres.

Book #17 for 2010. Ford had great characters throughout this PI novel, and I loved his hardboiled, slightly warped sense of humor. Yeah, I'll definitely be reading more in this series.
