I am so glad my book club picked this for our September book as I’d picked it up and put it back down multiple times, and I’m really not sure I would have ever actually read it without the extra push.
I will admit to being a bit sceptical at first – and I had to message my book club to check it became more uplifting – but I thoroughly enjoyed this book. Espach explored some really hard-hitting themes – suicide, grief, marriage, second chances etc. – in a really effective way.
Initially only planning to read this as an eBook, I liked it so much, I picked myself up a copy and am sure I’ll come back to it again in the future.

A bit of a slow start but so worth the wait!!! This book was so quirky and heartwarming. Everyone was perfectly weird & was a comforting read about coming into yourself. Can't wait to read her other books :)
