Overall, it's a good enough read, but I feel there are better, more modern OOA&D references out there.

The book is over 15 years old, as of my reading. Some of the concepts described are a bit outdated, but the fundamentals presented are sound enough. If you're using this as a basis to learn how to make good OO software, you'll be fine, but again, 15 years is a very long time in the software development world.

I did not appreciate the book's presentation, which I'll call the "back of cereal box" format. Lots of overlapping streams of consciousness, and it really threw my focus off trying to soak up the book's material.
