I read this book because of series that's coming out, and I was really confused. I read this in one sitting and I enjoyed it, but it's not my favourite. But I think this would work really well as a series, because the book was really fast and hopefully the series is a bit slower.

This title really encapsulates the mood - It's always the end of the fucking world when you're a kid, and honestly, it does get pretty fucked up for those kids.. But also, it gets better, kiddos.
The comic goes a different, but major direction change at the climatic scene, and I... honestly like it better with the comic.
I see this appealing more to angsty teens than... myself, but still a good read.

to keep it short, this lacked so much. the show just reached emotional levels that i don’t often feel. the comic was cool but it missed a lot of key points, also it made james a sex maniac?? where i loved his soft shy character in the show. as well as the music, the soundtrack to the show is one of my all time favourites and it just isn’t the same without it. it is cool to see where the story originated from though (TW of sex, rape, very graphic drawings of naked women, and nudity)
