This one has been my least liked. Some seem like they are a little rushed at the end, but this one. It was so rushed and left me with so many unanswered questions that were laid out throughout the book. When it ended I had to keep going back and retreading the last chapters thinking I missed something for it to end so abruptly. Making me want to take a break from the series.

2.5 stars Kinsey is as catty as ever and situations are left unresolved. Lots of cliches in this one. Do feel sorry for Danielle. It's better than both L and H.

Not my favorite one by Sue Grafton but still a good mystery/private investigator read. I know reading her novels in 2023 means they are all outdated by almost 30 years but this one felt particularly dated. It’s your typical murder whodunnit with no original suspects and by the end, you will be questioning & accusing everyone. The end felt a bit rushed and ended on somewhat of a cliffhanger which was frustrating. Overall, another decent read by Sue Grafton.
