I liked this book better than the last couple. This book wasn't so much about Reacher using his physical strength, but his investigative skills. Past Tense is next.

Another excellent entry in the Jack Reacher series, this time touching on the opioid epidemic and wounded veterans.

I've enjoyed many Jack Reacher novels so maybe this one felt like a dud because I listened to it rather than read it. I found it really repetitive, which seemed like padding, and Reacher himself now seems so invincible there is very little tension. On the other hand, I did learn quite a lot about the opioids.

I really enjoyed this book! This is the first book I've read by this author, but it won't be the last.

Really good entry. Wasn't super thrilled with the heroin aspect, but you know it really played well. It was also done with a critical eye showing how heroin addicts are not just criminals.

Lee Child, how do you do it? Book after book, just amazing, always with a plot line that is as smooth as butter. Once again, Reacher is amazing. And from the description of Reacher in this book, how the HECK did Tom Cruise get cast as Reacher? Worst pick ever, ruins how great Child's books are.
