There was so much I didn’t like about this book (millennial nonsense, gratuitous use of the pet name “bunny”, the parts that absolutely screamed “star wars fanfic with the serial numbers filed off”, the mayor being a dog for some inexplicable reason???) but overall I liked the underlying message of the book. And it was an easy read.

I just didn’t really vibe with this one. I am very much a mood reader though, so it could entirely be my mental state while reading it. It was ok, but not great in my opinion.

Sigh… I teared up can’t lie. Especially when I decided to play “build me up buttercup” on Spotify in that one scene of them dancing, cause I clearly love to suffer. Reading it wasn’t enough, no I just HAD to play it also. Anyways, the pen was on fire and i throughly enjoyed it.
