I loved the seven-year-slip so instantly bought this. it took me a few days to get into it and I wasn’t sure I was going to finish it at first. BUT it is a cute story with good humour and some good quotes about life which I always like.

Such a cute, cute read. I enjoyed every second of this book. I’d give it a solid 4.5 ⭐️. Recommend this book, for sure.

prepare to experience a wave of emotions with this book.
thank GOD the ending is beautiful and just what i hoped for bc i truly would’ve crashed out if Ben died fr

This book had me fooled for at least 75% of it then we took a wild turn and I couldn’t put it down. Such a cutie fall book!

Florence Day is a ghostwriter who can see & speak to ghosts. Her family also happen to run a funeral home. Her novels are bestsellers, but it’s not her name on the cover. Florence isn’t going to meet her latest deadline, after a breakup has left her bereft & unable to write romance. Whilst facing a deadline she can’t make, a sudden family matter sees Florence having to revisit the hometown she fled from, that was never able to understand her after she solved a murder by speaking with the ghost. I enjoyed this book, it seemed like a unique premise, but I found it to be annoyingly repetitive, which detracted from my overall enjoyment. It’s a romance with ghosts, family dynamics & acceptance of being ‘different’, an easy fun read.
