Cute, but the rhyme scheme was inconsistent, which is a bit of a pet peeve.

Cute easy read. Great level one book... my son knew most words, but there were a few more tricky words he needed to figure out.

I enjoyed this children’s book. Reminds me of my younger brother and I when we were little.

2020 is the year I read some children’s book to get over how depressing this year has been. Thank you amazon for showing this to me

I bought this for my niece for her birthday, I had to read it first though. :)

I remember reading this book a lot growing up. I got a kick out of learning new words through the nonsensically silly situations a rhyming scheme could create. I picked it up again today for the first time in years to read to the 4-year-old I tutor, and his enthusiasm for the sheer amount of words that rhymed and the cute illustrations on each page was great to see!

This just might be my favorite book of all times.

I learned to read when I was 5 because of this book. A snarky cat sits on the mat. What is a rat to do?
