This was a calm, clear, and soothing book. I really enjoyed it, it felt like an old friend and I related to the theme a lot having dealt with my own burnout at a job I loved. I loved the different jobs and little bits of life that went into this book and the slightly mundane strange happenings the narrator finds herself surrounded with. The food descriptions were great and made me hungry, which is a big plus for me.
