I appreciate the message of the book, but I found the story a bit bland. While some of the translation is a bit confusing, I enjoyed the read and light-hearted feel.

Reading this while on my work breaks got me out of a reading AND work slump, I love how mysterious it feels and the diversity of plot within each story but how they all connect, it was a really simple read and I found it silly how hypocritical the main characters is when she judges her coworkers/“customers” because it does not differ from real life >o< (I agree it can be a bit redundant, the chapters are long but I felt like the target audience being mainly working people around ages 20+ made me enjoy this book plenty!)

This has been on my tbr for so long, I'm actually surprised Ididn'tt like it more. I felt mentally exhausted at around page 250. Each chapter being 80-100 pages long made me feel like pulling out teeth, especially with the story being so mundane. There were some interesting ideas, but the pacing was so slow
