3 stars: nice addition to the world of The Bone Season.

The information: we got a good overview of the different types of clairvoyance and why they are sorted a certain way. Unfortunately, I already forgot which name goes with what power. I can still grasp the easy ones (pyromancer must have something to do with fire), but most of them are lost on me. There might have been a bit of an explanation on why a certain word was chosen, which would have helped remembering. And I would loved to have seen the chart that's in the other books! It would be a good piece of reference.

The readability: short paragraphs, neatly ordered together by type of clairvoyance, make this book perfectly readable.

The structure: I like how this book is structured by the way it interprets types of clairvoyance.

Best part: "Binders are DEFINITELY NOT vile augurs please DO NOT get confused about that I repeat binders are NOT vile augurs even though we they work with blood!"

This book is a key read for any Bone Season reading. If ever you were confused by the categories of voyants (weren't we all?), then this will clear it up completely. I decided to read this when starting "The Song Rising" because it had been just long enough that I needed a refresher on some types. Now I wish I'd read this earlier! It will also be a nice cross reference when reading later books. Not to mention this is Jaxon Hall's voice completely!

I can't even express how much I loved every page of this pamphlet! Not only was it a huge help to explain the many different types of clairvoyants in Paige's world but the characterisation of Jaxon was so vivid that I could practically hear him reading it aloud to me. Loved it!

A really great little novella of Jaxon's pamphlet looking into the different orders of clairvoyance. Samantha Shannon is such a perfect writer and you canhear Jason's voice throughout this book.

So glad I read this! The powers in the books now make so much more sense. Also, I read this entire pamphlet in Mark Sheppard's voice (Crowley on Supernatural).

3.5 I love the vile sarcasm of Jaxon Hall sprincled all along this pamphlet. It was interesting as well.
