i hated this so bad. i swear the first 80% of the book pretty much nothing happens - it did not need to be this long! i didn’t like the writing style in the previous books either but it seems to have gotten worse somehow. i hate the prose and the dialogue feels even worse. i’m not a fan of the single parent/teen dad thing at all so that might be why i couldn’t connect to the story much, but even the side plot bored me. don’t get me wrong there was a lot going on but the whole thing felt messy, rushed, and lacking. even the characters i liked in the first three books seem to have been ruined. victoria and captain both seemed to have so much promise before but it’s very much fallen flat here.

Meh

I was a little disappointed with this one.. I really liked the first 3 and was looking forward to reading Captains story. Unfortunately for me, it was a bit of a let down. The unnecessary cruelty by Captain was a bit too much, I ended up just feeling sorry for Victoria and wanting her to get the heck out and move on.

Don’t even get me started on Mallory.. that didn’t really add up on the end to me

Maybe it’s just me, but I also felt the whole backstory of who’s who and who was related to what was a bit confusing.

If you’re a fan of the series still give it try, you may have a different reading experience but sadly this one didn’t really do it for me

Captain and Victoria

Another great read. I loved Victoria’s story and seeing everything she selflessly did for others. I will admit at times I didn’t think Captain deserved her, although I did love him. I loved getting to see more of Zoey. Can’t wait for Royce’s book.

Hello Cap 🔥❤️

This book/series forever stays one of my favourite of hers if not my favourite series for this genre completely! Amazing writer literally keeps you hooked throughout you laugh you cry and get excited as this story progresses! The characters are loveable and you root for them the entire time!
Let’s be honest we all have our fave characters in these books however they’re all on par with each other! This is a series I will always come back to. I’ve read and reread it and will reread it again! If I could give this book more than five stars I would in a heart beat! Highly recommend diving in and discovering Brayshaw high!

I actually have no words. Like this book took my emotions on a fucking rollercoaster. I swooned, I cried, I got angry, and I cried some more. Meagan’s writing moved me on a deeper level and I felt more in tune with Cap and Rora more than I have any other characters. I can’t wait to read the conclusion to this epic series.

Well I didn't think this series could get any better, but...it has. Spoiler alert, this book is amazeballs. The push and pull of Captain and Victoria...off the charts tension, and passion. The secrets, lies, twists and turns kept me reading this book well into the morning hours. There was just so much going on in this book, and just when you think you have everything figured out, the author is like "naw, man hold my beer, watch this." Then she WRECKS you.

I have been waiting and waiting patiently I might add for this book. The second I got my greedy hands on it, it became apparent, I was doing nothing but reading. I am so glad that I waited on this, and was patient because it did not let me down. The characters as always as super well thought out, and the story is just spellbinding. Told in dual pov, this story wows the reader, and makes you feel like you are right there in the story. A must read for the summer.
