Oh Captain, My Captain

It's been a revelation to see Captain's inner monologue in this book as compared to the Brayshaw trilogy. He seemed so kind with Raven, but with Victoria...dang. He's a jerk. And I thought he was the thinker of the group...nope. He's a judgemental piece of rubbish. But he's also a good daddy and cares so much about his family. He's fiercely loyal and dependable and protective... complex. I loathed and loved him.

Victoria is a silent warrior. She's always on the outside, but forever collecting information. Her power is equal to Ravens power, but in a different way. Her silence is her strength. Her secrets go deeper than anyone imagines and she loses everything because of them. She wants her Captain's love, but the secrets are too much. You gotta peel back those layers to get to the heart of everything.

If you've invested time into the Brayshaw series and liked it, this gives you more of that from an alternate perspective. I enjoyed it. I love a vague review and so I deliver this one to you.

OMG OMG OMG!! Where do I even start with this book?!
I stayed up late to finish it, and it brought out so many emotions that I couldn't think straight to write this review. And now? Now that it has been hours since, and I got some sleep... I still can't think straight to write this review.

This book right here was one I was highly anticipating and it did not disappoint. This series is one of my all time favourites and Victoria and Captain’s love story was definitely worth the wait. Be My Brayshaw is everything I have come to expect from Meagan Brandy. I absolutely loved how she allowed Captain and Victoria to have their own unique voice and romance within the Brayshaw world. It’s suspenseful and mysterious, full of unexpected twists and turns and sexy as hell. Captain and Victoria’s story kept me at the edge of my seat; as new secrets were constantly revealed new secrets and one that had captivated me from the get go. And I loved every minute of it.

I loved being back in the world of Brayshaw. I was so eager for this story and it definitely wasn't an easy one. All the angsty goodness, tension filled, so many secrets and some intense heat - although it was a bit of a slow burn which was slightly unexpected but it WORKED. Cap and Victoria were absolutely perfect for each other. On one hand, she challenged him on so many levels, and on the other, he gave her that stability in her life she desperately needed and craved.

Be My Brayshaw is the perfect addition to the Brayshaw world. It is filled with sexual tension, jaw-dropping secrets and shocking twists. I loved Victoria so hard, Zoey melted my heart and although I had a love/hate thing for Cap and he disappointed me a bit sometimes... in the end I still loved him, and his and Zoey's moments together were absolutely delightful. Meagan Brandy has given us another captivating and all consuming read that was impossible to put down. Cap and Victoria’s story is a deep, emotional, angsty, gritty and delicious masterpiece.

I was literally so confused during all of this book and couldn’t even tell what was going on half time also feel like everything was easily solved at the end without giving some need things for the story to make since. Captain felt like a complete different person and he did not deserve Victoria. I loved Victoria the whole story especially the scenes with Zoey. It felt like almost nothing happen in most the story until the ending which was extremely rushed. And overall the characters just didn’t feel like the original ones I fell in love with in the original series. But I love you Zoey and Victoria <3

This book just wasn't as good as the first three. It was still enjoyable, but Captain and Victoria just aren't as captivating to me as Raven and Maddoc.

Steamy and suspenseful! Meagan Brandy once again dominates. Victoria is awesome, I loved her strong personality. I wasn’t as crazy about captain as I thought I would be, he seemed a little wishy-washy, not as confident as I pictured. The two characters together did an amazing job of making some steamy scenes. There were so many twists and turns as a story progressed, but I couldn’t put it down. A few completely threw me and one I’m still not sure works for me. The next installment of Brayshaw High is going to be absolutely spectacular and I cannot wait for more!
