So I was lucky enough to receive an ARC. The only author I had read was Micalea Smeltzer and so she's the only reason I really picked up the book. I'm glad I did because I found a lot of other great love stories.

The Break by Debra Presley- 1 Star
I thought all of these stories were suppose to be romances? To start of with something so depressing, that continued in installments, was so disappointing.

Always Too Late by Micalea Smeltzer- 5 Stars
I love everything by Micalea and loved Never Too Late, so to see Remy and Mathais in high school was bittersweet knowing what happens. To see Mathais a little unsure of himself was adorable. I just wish it was longer!

Until Stars Forget to Shine by Amber Garza- 2 Stars
Sorry, but I didn't like it. The plot is more something that should be a full length book, not a short story.

The Only Chance by Magan Vernon- 3.5 Stars
Short and sweet little read.

Awakened by Amber Garr-4 Stars
Loved it. Super cute and stands out from the other stories. Wish they had a book of their own.

Do You Mind? by Freya Barker- 4 Stars
The perfect short story. Something that draws you in, but doesn't leave you hanging. Perfect balance of emotionally attached, but not in a book hangover.

Cock-Block by W. Ferraro- 1 Star
No. Just no. How sad. I feel so bad for Wren. Skip this one.

What Happens on Spring Break by R.C. Stephens
This was on of the few that I didn't read. Just didn't catch my attention.

Always There by Elizabeth Hayes- 1 Star
Bleh.

Falling for Lindy by Ashlee Taylor-3 Stars
Aw young clueless love.

Burning the Midnight Oil by Elison Grace
Didn't read this one either.

Babysitting for the Biker by Sammi Starlight- 4 Stars
Short and Sweet. Wait not sweet, hot.

Chasing Love by Misha Elliot
Tried reading this one. Got to Chapter 3 and was bored.

Spellbound- 4.5 Stars
What a cute story to finish off the book. I might have to look into Kenzie and Bo's book.

I had the pleasure of getting an advanced copy of Freya Barker’s Do You Mind? It’s the only story I’ve read in the anthology, though I will be purchasing this one upon release. I’ve loved everything that Freya puts out and this one is no exception. She is a master at her craft; presenting the reader with real, believable characters. Although this is a shorter story, it is as impactful as her other full length novels.

The story begins with Bernice at the airport during an unanticipated layover. She is approached by Jack who also finds himself in the airport. The attraction is apparent and the sparks fly between these characters.

Ms. Barker’s characters are typically older, usually in their forties, which I think enhances to the plausibility. They have lived, they’ve been hurt. They know to take action in the moment.

I can only hope that this is a precursor to an extended novel. It definitely left me wanting more of Bernie and Jack.

Beautiful stories by amazing and very talented authors! Each story is well written, has a beautiful romance story and is just a great read while in short time, as you can read each story and enjoy the book longer. I love it!

I always like picking up anthologies when I can because it gives me a chance to read new to me authors at an affordable price. A LOVE FOR ROMANCE has fifteen different short stories by fifteen different authors. I read several stories in no time at all but I'm reviewing ALWAYS TO LATE by Micalea Smeltzer. This is a quick prequel to NEVER TOO LATE (Willow Creek Book 2) which is a full length book that was published several years ago. Mathias and Remy are two teenagers who meet in high school and immediately begin an explosive and rebellious relationship. They both feel a strong, fiery love for each other but circumstances tear them apart. The rest of their story continues in the Willow Creek series seven years later. Micalea Smeltzer is an awesome author! I enjoyed this story so much that I added the series to my TBR. Told from Remy's POV with a definite cliffhanger. I received, read and voluntarily reviewed an ARC of this book.
