It was a bit odd to read Dracula without the journal entries I've read so many times before, it felt less personal to read but just as enjoyable. Dracula will always be a good read in my eyes.

This was a quick and easy to read retelling on the classic Dracula. It was told as a story and followed the basic plot of Dracula. However, the writing was not that great in parts and it didn't have any of the suspense that the original had.

I merely read it for some knowledge about Count Dracula. This abridged version is really well written although I have nothing to compare it to, say, the original one.
