I really enjoyed this book. I had a suspicion who the culprit was in the book, but couldn’t predict how it all would end. With this being said, I wasn’t disappointed with the ending. I loved the ghostly aspect of the book, making this a perfect fall mystery.

This was just okay. It didn’t really do much, it’s a bit repetitive, the plot was meh, there were red herrings but even they were just alright. Henry was cool, I love a weird kid. Other than that, there was really nothing to write home about. EXCEPT!!! I got (user)name dropped in this book. I’m now convinced he reads my reviews saying he should retire. HE’S THREATENING ME!!!!!!! But really, this is a pretty weak book for Sager. The ending was actually incredibly lackluster, like shockingly bland and boring. But perhaps I have finally and fully outgrown Mr. Sager’s books. 🤷🏻‍♀️

I liked this book a lot more than I expected to going in. It really picks up in the second half. Plenty tense at times but surprisingly heartwarming, with unexpectedly lovable characters. I didn't expect the culprit, but felt the author dropped enough subtle hints that it didn't feel like she tricked the reader.
