Ugg and aww and le sigh. I didn't get my ship, but I can't say I'm really mad about it. Assuming I get more books because I have questions and if I don't get my ship I at least deserve some closure!! I'm entirely too invested in this universe to be out of books!

Clemeny is back in action. We got action, a mystery and a ball. More hints about what Clemeny might be, I'm sure it will all come to light in the next book. Agent Harper is back nursing a broken heart and PTSD from her case in Egypt. They solve this case without much trouble, but the outcome was heartbreaking for the wounded party. Which fueled my disgust for Lady Cabell even more. Here character was fairly flat. Just a sour disagreeable woman.
Edwin is a good catch but I stand with my assessment that he isn't for her. Her heart belongs to Lionheart. I still feel Lionheats reason for leaving was weak and he lead the young scientist on if what he said was true. Why not pursue a relationship with Clemeny right away? All that could of been avoided.
Overall I enjoyed the story and the ending was satisfying.

This book is as well done as all the others in the series. Really interesting main characters and Clemeny is delightful. My only complaint is that I don’t think it will be the last book in the series, which means I will have wait again for the next book’s release. This book is well worth your time.
