Dangerously relatable especially if you have/had a cat or a pet at home, made me sad thinking about how Chi kept trying to go back to his mumma but all’s well that ends well 😊 feel-good light read with great illustrations!

whole series finished. didn't expect such a rollercoaster about a kitten's existential crisis over which family to choose.
also, is no one going to care if that stray kitten (whom Chi constantly plays with in the park) is going to be adopted...?

This series is just delightful and in this volume we meet Chi and her family. The storytelling and the frame layout is wonderful - very expressive and captures the tiny and funny details that make living with a cat so fun. Up until now the "What's Michael?" books have been my standard bearer for comics on cats, but Chi has warmed my heart now too! The Japanese know how to tell amazing cat stories - they clearly love cats and get them.

This was a very cute manga about a kitten who gets separated from her mother and finds herself being adopted by a human family. It was cute and if we could understand a cat’s meows they would probably be saying some of the things Chi did.
