Too cute!

One Sentence Review: If you are a fan of baby-talking kittens combined with some of the worst manga your eyes have ever had the unpleasant task of perusing, then boy oh boy do I have a book for you!

If I had a "Things that make me smile" shelf, this would be on it. This is a sweet story that will ring true to any cat owner, and the cute illustrations fit perfectly.

this was so cute

Oh my goodness, Chi is so adorable and is like the not-as-evil version of my own cat!

This was a really cute collection of short snippets of the kitten Chi who gets lost and than taken in by a human family. Lots of great cat and human antics. I don't often read humour stuff, so I'm not sure if this is a series I will continue but I'm not ruling it out!

This book is absolutely adorable; a perfect novel to introduce young readers to graphic novels and comics. This novel is one I frequently recommend to elementary school classes when they come for tours. Chi is a sweet baby kitten, enjoying Central Park with her Momma and sibling kittens. Chi is fascinated by a butterfly, who she chases until she realizes she has separated herself from her family and is lost! Chi is crying and shaken up from being alone when suddenly a human family walking by realizes she is too little to be on her own and takes her home with them.
Chi soon finds herself in an entirely new world full of surprises, good and bad, lots of toys, food, comfort, and love. Chi often flashes back to memories of her Momma who she misses dearly, but Chi learns to love her human family, be independent from her Momma and enjoy kitten-hood.
There are also 11 or 12 more volumes in the Chi series.
