This was kind of boring, to be quite honest, but once again this picture book is not meant for someone my age so of course your children might fare better with it than I did.
Hilarious squirrel and its sweet patient neighbor bird learn a little something of the mystery of the missing tree leaves. The illustrations captures and elevates the animals’ personalities, akin to Pete Oswald’s fun and expressive style. GREAT for little curious minds. Super cute and silly, highly recommend!
Great book for a fall storytime. Would be particularly fun to read with older kids who know about the changing seasons and can point out squirrels mistaken thoughts about what is happening to the leaves.
