funny lighthearted relaxing fast-paced

This is a fun book about what happens to leaves in the fall. Told through the point of view of the squirrel who lives in the trees it’s a fun little story about him trying to find the leaf thief! Another household favorite!

A super funny book about a squirrel who doesn't understand why the leaves are disappearing. Better for one-on-one lower elementary due to small text and images.

This one had like 30 holds on it and I was wondering what all the hype was about. It was funny, but I wasn't crazy about it.

Review:
I adored this book!
The illustrations are FANTASTIC! They are humorous but not over the top, beautiful without being too elegant. It’s truly a wonderful balance.

The story is fun without being too simplistic, so children can expand their vocabulary. There is conflict without being aggressive or violent. It has a wonderful moral that comes across in a fun and affectionate way and teaches about the seasons.

One of my favorite picture books of the year.

lighthearted

The text is maybe a touch overlong, but the book is funny, and the digital illustrations have such warmth and texture. Enjoyable.

This one is funny. I don’t normally like digitally created illustrations for picture books but this one has some charm to it.
