I liked it. It was satisfying. I really liked the FBI agent assigned to the case.

Easy to listen to thriller. Went by quickly. Nothing ground breaking

I like that he always ends on kind of an optimistic note, even if the before is bloody & heartwrenching.

Loved getting to know the families and their secrets and seeing a familiar FBI agent. Really good popcorn thriller.

Alex Finlay is probably a top fave thriller author of mine, but this one missed it for me. Easily my least favourite of his, but still decent! I'd call it a quick and easy popcorn thriller read, with great twists and overall enjoyable, but there were way too many characters to keep track of and way too many plot lines to keep track.

In the glow of their children's exciting first year of college at a small private school in Northern California, five families plan on a night of dinner and cocktails for the opening festivities of Parents Weekend. As the parents stay out way past their bedtimes, their kids - five residents of Campisi Hall - never show up at dinner.
First I thought this was going to be a parents thriller. A student dies the parents are sad.
Secondly No.
