I did really enjoy this book, although there was a bit more I would have liked to have known. Like what happened with Jake? He was kinda just brushed off and faded into the background, love him though

I wanted to like this book. I tried to like this book. It took me two attempts to read it. On the first attempt I DNF at 50%. On the second attempt I had to speed read just to get it over with. I have no aversion to tropes like step-siblings, virgins, or dominant men, but EVERY aspect of this book was cringe. The FMC is UNDERAGE for the first half of the book, and she is manipulated by possessive, predatory men with anger issues. Men she is supposed to trust. Men who repeatedly make advances at her even when she clearly says no, and that is not okay. There is not a single thing I liked about this book.
