The only good thing about this book is the playlist. Five chapters in the main character is almost r*ped by her cousin but it’s written off as “you’re just too beautiful and delicious I couldn’t help myself can you blame me”????? The MC was also not of age when this happens but the cousin is and it’s written off as ”she´ll be of age in a couple months” ok??
Anyway this book is so toxic. A young girl has to move to her dads brother and his two sons and when winter comes to that town no one can leave because of the weather. So winter comes, and they all come. They’re so manipulative to her and that’s basically the plot. It’s not a dark romance its just abuse after abuse. And the fact that they all openly talk about ”sharing a girl”?? And they use the same nickname for her?

I have never shouted “what the fuck” out loud whilst reading. Especially every 5 mins. It was so weird it had me laughing out loud, absolutely wheezing because who even comes up with this stuff?
The first 50% was building up to something weird, there were just so many red flags. 52%? Yeah fuck no. That was hella uncomfortable. And then the tin bath? HELL NO.
Tiernan clearly got mummy and daddy issues. But girl, out of all the men in the world? In that town? Ew. Also, constantly egging Kaleb on when you know he’s got issues and clearly feral… Girl saw all the red flags in the beginning and chose to continue anyway. Bitch is clearly colour blind cos ain’t no way.
Jake is a nonce. I didn’t understand his problem.
The only character that I was semi-okay with was Noah, but even then, he’s creepy too.
I wish I could unread books and un-imagine things because this was not pleasant. I need therapy.
