I thought this book was so well written. It made me want to keep reading and it really made me feel like I was a part of a whole other world. For me, I couldn’t get past the incest, which knocks my rating down. However, this was a super fast paced read and I really enjoyed it overall.
hey so this was fucking insane!!
i only liked jake tbh. genuinely she had more chemistry with the horses than with any of the guys.
with jake she just had serious daddy issues and noah was always more of a brother and kaleb wasn’t even a character until like ten pages ago!!!
should’ve used more humor
i love the mountains tho i would totally love it there
did i even like it?? what do i rate it?? i sped through it and idk why it was so hard to put down. but the fact that they keep mentioning that they’re family makes me cringe
plus everyone sees her as a sex object and it got on my nerves after a while because like grow up??? i know you yearn too???

I read this book to understand what everyone says about it. The obvious aspects of this book *cough cough* the familial ties are what really threw me off when I was deciding to read it. I couldn't understand how you could possibly write a book that is focused around romantic relationships with your step cousins/uncle. I do not condone any aspect of this book as there is obvious abuse, forced sexual experiences and the familial aspect aint it but I did enjoy reading it. I cringed at times but overall it was super interesting and kept my attention all the way through. I personally liked Noah the most and wanted her to end up with him (if she had to choose because again FAMILIAL TIES) but I can understand her connection with Kaleb and really enjoyed reading his perspective in the last chapter. I SQUEALED when he spoke for the first time.

I think the best part was closing and deleting the fucking pdf
Welp...that crossed a lot of lines and part of me wants to be appalled, but I loved it.
