Loving her novellas! They are short, sweet and pack a lot of punches and twists in such a short time frame. I gotta say I think this one was my favorite so far. I did not see the ending of this book coming

Gostei bastante do final.

RATING: 4 STARS

First off, Kendra Elliot and Melinda Leigh both work on the Rogue series. There are two series before this one, Rogue River (4 novellas) and Rogue Winter (2 novellas). These novellas are based in Solitude, Oregon about 4 characters. Two are sisters, one is a police officer, Stevie and the other is a social worker, Carly. Stevie is dating police chief, Zane and Carly is married to Investigator Seth. Each Rogue spinoff has a different crime.

In these two novellas we have the four investigating a murder of a TV star that is bringing the paparazzi to the small town. As the four try to solve the murder they seem to be getting closer to danger. I love these quick romantic-suspense novellas. They are perfect for a quick satisfying read.

Burned by Her Devotion is the concluding novella in Melinda Leigh and Kendra Elliot's combined Rogue Vows duet, and this one was as thrilling and captivating as the first. With Seth now investigating when the alleged killer of Hollywood star Chase Ryan escapes custody and Carly helping when a child recently placed in a foster home disappears and is feared to be heading in the direction of the escaped prisoner. And with lots of mystery, not to mention some twists and turns, I was easily hooked and I would gladly recommend the Rogue Vows duet to others.
