The book forgets about the plot started in the first book and showcases a LOT of sex. There are multiple courses after any fight and any character conflict. It just got so redundant after a while, I feel like both the plot and the characters were getting no where. 

 I got to the end of the book eventually and was just done.

There is almost entirely no plot. 90% of this book is smut. We finally start getting somewhere in the end chapters and then it ENDS?! I thought this was a duology (I’m dumb) and now I have to read two more books, neither of which are even published yet. What the hell. Guaranteed this and the next two books could be combined into 1 book if you eliminated 30 out of 35 sex scenes (approximately). I’m all for the spice but give me the story too!

Ok ok so book two hits wayyyyy better than book one! Just as I suspected it would as the story is starting to unfold. Things are really starting to happen, I’ve so many questions! I devoured the book in a day.

There are some parts of this book that I love so much I feel like you'll always be inside my heart however there are some parts of the book that were so out of the norm and pornographic that I had to detach myself from the book and situation.  It would have been an easy 5 stars without all the strangsex. That's just not my thing. 

It's feminist in one line then in another I'm cringing from the language he uses with the MC. Kinda gives mixed signals as if the author herself was conflicted herself. 

The world building was top notch as well as the friendships. The evolution of the MC is as well. I'm still looking forward to the next book.
