I found myself going on a love/ hate roller coaster the entire time with this book. Between questionable toxic relationships, deep set misogyny (humans) , love and desire and plot twists.

you found out that caelum is caldris and estrellas his mate, but what is she ?

Ultimately I loved this book.

Insufferable. INSUFFERABLE. Nothing happens. It just keeps going in circles, it's so repetitive. I kept cringing every other page.
The first book at least had some semblance of a plot. Not this one though, as far as I got. Man I'm annoyed.

Like Estrella’s feelings toward Caelum, I want to hate this, I *should* hate this… but I don’t. Like Estrella, I’m grappling with what it means about my psyche that I’m into this. And like Estrella… I’m not sorry about it. I kinda just want to watch the world burn. 

I thought I had read smut before this; turns out I didn’t even know the definition of the word.

Didn't expect to find this story so addictive.

I understand the pull that Estella feels towards Caldrid but that does not excuse him for taking her choice in multiple occasions and masking it with an excuse if his love for her. However I do think that he made some slight improvements.
But the real reason I want to keep on resding it to find out what kind of fae Estella is.

Listened to this as an audiobook while drawing and it was okay... i probably would reread it, it was mostly predictable plot wise, the main character is kinda boring and some of the smut fells non-consensual even though there is consent... its a bit odd, I'll probably read the next book cause im curious of the 5% plot that is actually in the book apart from the two main characters doing the dirty.....
