I liked this book at first but then I started to regret listening to the audiobook because the reader’s voice made every character more obnoxious than the last. I was thinking I’d enjoy it more if I could read it in my own inner voice. But 3/4 of the way through I realized every character really was just insufferable and irredeemable. Even the dog. Jesus.

There are moments of this book that really captured me and resonated with me (the emotional reactions, the worrying and paranoia and pains of existence) but the ending really lost me.
