I thought this book was funny and I enjoyed reading about the relationship and probably
would’ve given this a 4.5 until the very end trigger warning and spoiler alert…….something happens to the dog

I saw some reviews that said they didn’t “get it” and either my brand of 20-something-New-Yorker-Jewish-neurosis is so in tuned with this book that I fully understand it or I’m totally delusional. I mean Jules and I have a lot in common (I mean even our names are similar!) so I might totally be biased but I get her. I understand her. And while this book doesn’t have a true plot it was comforting to escape into her world, that was incredibly similar to my world, and be totally validated by all her thoughts and feelings.

Did I get the ending though? No, absolutely not. No idea what it was about but I respected it.

Can we also mention the icon that is Amy Klobuchar the dog?
