4.5 but rounding up to a 5. I listened to this on audiobook and it was really enjoyable. I loved the dynamic between Jules and Poppy. A great insight into sisterhood and the associated difficulties. Also, laughed at the parts about the “Instagram mommies”. The ending was unexpected and I didn’t love it. hence a 4.5. Despite that it was a good read.

definitely not for everyone... it's just an episodic novel following two sisters living in NYC. in their 20s, kinda neurotic, crazy mom, loving dad... someone said it was like girls if it was written today and hannah has a sister instead of three friends and i agree with that. i found it hilarious.

2.5/5- I don’t think I liked this? Did I? I don’t know. There was zero plot, but so much to relate to. It was a character novel without any kind of developing depth of any character, but at the same time it was very funny. I don’t think I’ll think about it again, but it wasn’t bad. Hope this review helps!!

darkly funny and painfully relatable. this would be five stars except the ending left something missing for me idk.
