This is one of those books that has affected my thinking in pretty much every way. When it comes to thinking about culture, about cultural artifacts and objects, this is in my brain as a point of reference. How do we see the horizon, how to we step towards it? Always on your mind, always.

Was not the book I expected it to be. The thing I took away from it most is the concept of queer time. Perhaps it was the narrator who didn't quite pull my attention, rather sounding like an AI voice, that influenced my lacking interest in the book, but the narrative of utopias I found lackluster and the discussion of queerness was perhaps too broad and too personal at the same time.
