This was such a gorgeous book! Filled with absolutely breathtaking colour illustrations that I could have framed and hung on the wall. And a story that is funny, thoughtful and full of warmth. It had vibes of The Dark Crystal (because of the evil beings), The Spiderwick Chronicles and Studio Ghibli all rolled into one. What a gem of a book.

Niin söpö sarjakuva! Kunnon fantasiaseikkailu, mutta ilman mitään liian monimutkaisia kuvioita. Kuvitus on lumoava ja kaunis, joihinkin kuviin tekisi mieli jäädä pitkäksi aikaa.

I really enjoyed this graphic novel. The art was fresh and I enjoyed the visuals especially when Bea was feeling overwhelmed (great visuals for children to help them articulate similar feelings!)
