Revisiting a favorite - Nancy Drew never gets old.
I decided to read the hardback Nancy Drew books that we inherited years ago, this was the first, from 1930.
I enjoyed the mystery, but I really was entertained by the difference in writing and word uses from a book written in the thirties.
I plan to read all of them since they are an easy 200 page read.

I spent an entire summer as a girl reading my mom's Nancy Drew books. The originals were wonderful with strong and independent female characters. They began a lifelong love of mysteries for me.

A fun walk down nostalgia lane with Nancy Drew, who made me a life long lover of mystery novels. Minus one star for the chapter with the over the top old timey racism...

Who's that girl? It's Nance!
BRB obsessed with rereading the Nancy Drew books. Definitely written in the 1930's though (the use of the word "invalid" for an elderly woman).
