This book was just so predictable. A rating of 2 stars sounds mean but it just didn’t grip me at all.
As much as I loved the Cornish Scenery and the description of the seaside it didn't take long until I got really annoyed by this book. The characters don't really seem to progress in the story. It's rather an endless repitition of the same dialogues: how much Ellie loves Cornwall but doesn't want to give up her freedom etc. Even emotionally the story didn't speak to me. So to me this read was really disappointing and not worth my time.
