this was just fine like my overall feeling is that this was mediocre it didnt age well the way they talk about gay characters in this is extremely off but it was good to read on the plane/poolside

the conflict in this was so annoying

no wonder it took me two years to pick this up

I didn’t really vibe with the first half of this as it felt super quick and clunky but I enjoyed the second half a lot more!

once again i wish goodreads could give half stars because this is such a 3.5 stars read for me. i loved the beginning, and the banter and tension between the main characters, but towards the end, i felt myself growing dissapointed with how the whole Dane situation was handled, and how quickly everything solved itself. i feel like a more open ending could have been better in the case of this book, with only the possiblity of them getting together in the end again. liked the character development. didn't like the gay best friend stereotype (which seems to be a constant in these romance books ?). could have been finished better. still really enjoyed and would reccomend if one is looking for a light summer read.

This was a very enjoyable quick read. The rating is super high because I am reviewing this several weeks after reading it and I don’t really remember many details of the book.

Christina Lauren does know how to write good banter and loveable characters. I do think this is a great summer read!

This love story was cute, but was very juvenile. I prefer adult characters that seem like adults, but they seemed more like teenagers. Overall, I did like how the characters came together in the end, but beware of the writing style and have some reasonable expectations going into it.

i SO wanted to love this book, but it just wasn't as exciting as I wanted it to be. The female character is kind of horrible and stuck up the entire time, even once she starts having feelings, so I didn't want to relate to her. The male character also wasn't written very likeable either. I mean I'm glad they got together in the end but the road to get there was awful. The twin sister was even more unlikeable than the main female and how the twin treated the main character was very shitty at times. I don't know it might just have been me but I wasn't a fan.
