This was a cute Groundhog Day-esque YA novel. There were some funny moments but overall it's not going to stick with me.

This was too cute. A YA romcom, but not a young YA. 13 Going on 30 vibes. Love the messages throughout the book on having compassion for yourself at all phases of life, as well as offering that compassion to others. This had me laughing out loud and rooting for the MCs.

Cute little coming of age story. My library had it shelved under the adult section but it certainly reads more YA. Nevertheless, Woke Up Like This was a cosy and easy read that I enjoyed, with a couple of life lessons thrown in.
