I used to be so obsessed with this series. They aren't all that scary though.

The TV episode of this is WAY better than the book and that normally doesn't' get said but in this case, it is true for me. This wasn't creepy or scary at all, I remember picking this up as a kid and then putting it down. Now I remember why haha still love Goosebumps though. :)

If a yard gnome comes to life and tells you that it's a "mischief gnome" that cannot stop doing bad things, why would you follow it to a basement? o_O

I found this book to be so humorous and fun. I feel so badly for the kid Joe in this story. He is one of those kids who "cries wolf" of sorts. When his dad brings home a couple of ugly lawn gnomes, some crazy things happen in their yard and neighbor's yard. Poor Joe keeps getting in trouble, but he suspects these gnomes are at fault.
