As a Virginia native and a resident of the DMV area, I love how this story takes place in my own backyard. Makes the plot locations more immersive for me since I have been to a few and can envision them. And whenever I see Sudley Road from now on I will remember this book.
Despite the 4 star rating I liked this book better than the first one. I gave The Perfect Marriage 5 stars, but I feel the Perfect Divorce flowed better. I like the over all story and twists more. And I definitely did not guess the major plot twist of the story, that blew me away!!!
I love how many povs we got in this story. I think it helped things flow. Plus it was like smaller storylines, merging smoothly into the overall plot. I could visualize the words on the page like a movie.
All the thoughts I had regarding how the trial and investigation went from the book 1 were reflected in this book, like Jeneva is a mind reading lol. I love it!
Most of the loose ends (heehee, this is funny once you know the ending) and plot holes were answered in this book. Lots of them are simply diabolical and mind-blowing actions done by Sarah. Like Bob said Sarah has a "brilliant, diabolical mind" and it makes for good twisty reading.
Sarah is the PERFECT antihero for me. She's crazy, dare I say psychotic, maybe even insane. Definitely a psychopath

This did not disappoint! I loved it even more than the first one.

I half listened to this book on a road trip but I’m still counting it
