I loved this book. The perfect Marriage is one of my top favorites EVER and this book did not disappoint. - Sarah is one of my most loved characters I’ve read. Her mind and how she sees the world peaked my interest before I knew how deep it really went. - I hated Bob, his stupid big head and unlikable demeanor. But I understand he was an obvious necessary evil lol. - I feel kind of bad for Pam, being so easily dismissed at the end. But “evidence” doesn’t lie. ;) I truly couldn’t have asked for a better book 2.

- I’m glad neither girl was killed or seriously injured.
- Fuck Bob for thinking he could hire a hit man to kill Sarah. If only he were smart enough to be ahead, he might still be alive.
- Alejandro was a decent surprise, although I’m even more surprised she keeps him as a FWB. I understand the loose ends but also..

Sarah Morgan is once again three steps ahead of everyone else in this follow-up to 'The Perfect Marriage.' This book takes place 12 years after the first book. I absolutely loved both books. The twists are great, the characters are deplorable, and the conclusion is completely satisfying. I don't want to give anything away. It's best to go in blind, in my opinion, but do make sure to read 'The Perfect Marriage' first.

This was one of the best new thrillers of 2025 so far. The writing was absolutely phenomenal and the story just blew me away with how detailed it all was. The characters were all very interesting and unique in their own ways and I felt like even the side characters were fleshed out enough to get a true sense of who they were. The female lead has to be one of the smartest and most unhinged characters I've ever read in a thriller and it was very entertaining seeing the ways in which she constantly stayed one step ahead of those who were trying to bring her down. This was a super fast-paced read and one I enjoyed alot.

It's as diabolical as the first.
