This was a okay book. I have to say though the Unstoppable series isn't my favorite. At this point, I'm just reading them to see how it all ends. The earlier books are much better in my opinion.

Definitely a better book than the first two and some crazy stuff with it. Amy isn't as obnoxious and makes a hard choice. Good all around, wonder how it's gonna finish!

This was really a contrast to the last book, which was a lot better. It wasn't bad though. There were some cracks though; I couldn't lose myself in the story. I was reading the part about Amy flying a helicopter, and obviously she's never flown one before. But all of a sudden you have a whole bunch of helicopter lingo in there as she flying the plane (this lever and that lever? Something?) and since I know nothing about helicopters except for the fact that they fly, I was lost. And since she's never taken flying lessons, how does she know them?

It’s not bad it’s just the same book over and over. I like the little changes in details and some info shared but I wish they’d mix it up a bit. I realize I’m not the target age group but even if I was I know I’d be bored at this point. I still want to see what happens.

The sequel is getting better.
Amy is way less dramatic and annoying. After taking the serum, she seems more real to me. I love vulnerable Amy. Her helplessness of not being able to control her muscles, her mind and her emotions is so tense and gripping.
Sadly, Jake stays the same as he is. The chemistry between them is cute and all. Nevertheless, I’ve lost count of all the times I rolled my eyes when he differs with Amy. Whether you like it or not, this is a Cahill’s mission - which means a Cahill is in charge of it.
There are more chapters with Nellie. I am totally indifferent about this. She will do everything for her kiddos. To be honest, the part when she figured out Dr. Callender working for Pierce is quite pointless to me. Isn’t it obvious?
Cara’s chapters are my favorite. She and her mother are showing signs of being a major plot twist in the final book. I hope the next writer wouldn’t mess up.
Oh, and our poor little Pony!
His death is understandable and inevitable at this point of the series. Since Pierce has got Olivia’s book and his goons are stronger than ever, the loss of the only hacker of the team would add up the impossible to complete the antidote. Nonetheless, Pony was the connection to one character that we need to get to know more: April May. What is she up to? Which side is she on? How will she react when she finds out about his passing?
Overall, Countdown is a good book. On the other hand, I am kinda glad that this is going to an end.
