Love a good mystery. Kind of embarrassingly, love teen drama. Love a cliff hanger. And LOVE this story. There are some serious trigger topics, But, when reading a book involving teenage emotions, unfortunately that comes with the territory. Some of it is a bit cliche but it was still a good story that kept me wondering til the end. Loved the characters and felt like each was relatable in their own way…never thought any of them actually did it but couldn’t figure out who it was til the book was wrapping up….can’t wait to read the sequel.

3.5 stars —- possible spoilers?

I found myself enjoying this book for the most part the whole way through— it was shaping up to be a four/five star but I was pretty dissatisfied with the ending I won’t lie.

While this book def had highlights (Nate and Bronwyn, Addy’s character growth, Nate’s character as a whole) it definitely had some misfires (slut shamming, using a characters sexuality as a bigger twist than the actual main reveal, violent end). It levels out to be a mid ranking that I might recommend to someone if they express an interest in similar books but wouldn’t go out of my way to suggest.
