A little different than his usual as it blends horror with cosmic sci-fi. Visually striking but also super violent.

A fantastic quick, short read after Uzumaki. Junji Ito does not disappoint.

Very interesting and fun concept with amazing illustrations

A haunting, terrifying story, following Remina, the daughter of a scientist who discovers a new planet and names it after her. When the planet travels to earth, destroying other planets along the way, a mob of terrified people try to hunt her down in a misguided attempt to avoid disaster.

CW: body horror, cosmic horror, torture, crucifixion

Ugh! Definitely NOT Junji Ito’s best work, that’s for sure.

It’s really minimal on the suspense and lead up to the arrival of the planet. I wish there had been more weirdness prior to Remina arriving. The ending was so lame too!

The middle was the best part although human Remina was totally useless!

I’d have to say my favourite part was the surface level of the planet itself and I wish we had gotten to see more of it.
