I am honestly struggling to find the right words to express what it was like to read Orbiting Jupiter. While dealing with sensitive topics including abuse, mental health, foster care, teen pregnancy and poverty, this book tells a beautifully raw and compelling story from the perspective of a 12-year-old. There was so much in less than 100 pages, and yet it did not feel rushed or busy. It just felt real and moved me in so many ways.
Moderate: Alcoholism, Bullying, Confinement, Mental illness, Self harm, Suicidal thoughts, Toxic relationship, Violence, Grief, and Pregnancy
