Things I'm curious about:
- How they're going to progress with William's character.
- Will Albert eventually regret
killing his family after some time? - Will Albert's values change?
- Why the heck do people ship William with Sebastian???

…as I grew up and understood more about how irrational the world is, I started to actually empathize with the villain. …What motivated them to want to take over the world. I think it’s fun to imagine all these things when a villain’s motivations aren’t explained in a story. Professor Moriarty is one of those villains.

First off, yes I was obsessed with the BBC show Sherlock when I was a teenager. I will always say that Andrew Scott's performance as James Moriarty was so nuanced and interesting. Did this manga series send me full swing back into my obsession with Moriarty? Possibly.
I thought that this manga volume was so well done. The pacing was done so well where we got part of Moriarty and his brother's story and then goes into James Moriarty hatred for anyone who is in the upper class of society. This volume was about different cases Moriarty takes on of corrupt higher upper class people and bringing justice to those they had wronged. I loved it and thought it was so brilliantly written. I love seeing Moriarty's cleverness come through in this and how he keeps his hands clean of the actual crime.
I was absolutely excited to see Sebastian Moran in this. He's always been such an intersting character to me and I loved seeing him and Moriarty interact. I was laughing at his part because it was so clever and funny to see him doing his sharp shooting.
I also really loved the art of this. It's intricate enough that you get a feel for the time period and the story but not so much that it distracts from the characters.
Overall, if you really like Moriarty and morally gray villains, pick this manga up. I am so excited to read the other volumes and have them on my wishlist to buy.
