the rating might be off, but i just read this in one sitting basically and i loved it. not quite what i expected, but i found myself to be so invested in the characters and i loved the exploration of motherhood and intergenerational trauma. definitely be sure to check the trigger warnings before though!

this kept me on the edge of my seat. I thought it was non-fiction until the last page.. it would’ve saved me a lot of strife while reading if I wasn’t a big dummy and thought it was based on a true story.

Absolutely fantastic book, while also deeply disturbing in a way that you can’t stop reading.

Another audiobook that I signed up for without truly knowing what it was about, but dang it really sucked me in. Has you questioning how you feel about certain characters the whole time. And that ending?? What a cliffhanger. I was finishing washing dishes and it ended like that?? Had to sit down for a moment.

This was boring and predictable. It's barely 300 pages and took me a week to get through. I just don't get the hype.
