Well, I pretty much take back everything I wrote in my review for the last book. 🙃

This book felt like significantly more drama than last two in the series. I’m not gonna lie that I’m pretty upset that Jenny Han did Jeremiah dirty like that. I was not expected that twist at all, and it made me kinda queasy 🥴, not to mention it felt so out of character… 😖

Overall, I guess I’m happy with how it ended? It’s a great story about growing up and how your heart has so much capacity for love.

Honestly, now I can’t wait to see how Prime turns this into a real sh!t show for the third season 🤪

Sista delen i Jenny Hans Sommarserie.

It was a solid 3.5 🌟
I really love Jere in the other books and (the first part of the book was kinda hard to read) it pains me that his character in this book is the way it is but I get it it's for the plot. I'm just happy Conrad and Belly finally have their happily ever after!!
so excited to see season 2 of tsitp on prime and I for sure miss Susannah ❤️‍🩹

i think the letters at the end made up for how awful the entire series was. the entire plot of this last book was so weird and stupid. the entire story feels lost from the first book to the last even though it follows the same characters. the summer storyline and the house just fall to the background when that felt like the focus?? again, i miss steven. even tho i cringed most of the book and hated the marriage plot, this was probably the best of the three. it felt short and rushed like the other books but i guess that’s fine since it allowed me to finish in a few hours. i liked seeing more of taylor and belly’s matured relationship, as well as the college plot even if it felt much different than the first two books. although the entire book was about the wedding, i felt like it was more about explaining the time jump between the second and third book?? it was also confusing trying to decipher between past and current events. glad i finally finished so now i can cringe just as hard when i watch the show.

I’m not sure any series I’ve read has had me reevaluating the characters as much as I did throughout this one, and I loved that because it really made it seem like you’re watching the characters grow up. Just like the previous two books, it is just like a snapshot of their summer life and you just get invested in that moment, the rest of the year and anything outside the beach house kind of becomes secondary or like background noise.

hated Jeremiah by the end and longed for more Belly and Conrad relationship. Honestly even kinda hated Belly for a bit.
After the second book I almost didn’t read this one because of Conrad being a butt. But then read this in one sitting (did the same for the other two). Just wanted a longer ending
