I needed to give this book a second start, and really enjoyed it the second time. Really cute, sweet, and it's set up the next book well. Both of the characters are decently well developed for such a low angst book, and they're pretty good at communication. The ages are weird, I'm just going to assume they're both in their late 20s, it works better that way. Having one of them be 19 is super gross, and they don't act like people that young any way. Making them so young was completely unnecessary.

I feel like the author was trying to force the subplots on Us but I promise you I did not care one bit about that just snooze fest ugh.
it didn't help at all with the romance something felt lacking.
I really really wished the author focused more on the romance rather than just put all of this subplot everywhere then it turned out to be messy and unnecessary.
This was such a disappointing read
I had high hopes maybe it's my own fault for having so much expectations idk.
The third act was sooo predictable from a mile away I just went bullseye with it.
It was such a slow and boring read for me
Probably the Case of its Me I'm the problem it's me not the book

~Warning spoiler rant~

I feel bad most of the time for Evan because he would rather be a whore for a straight crush rather than walk away from that and find a real person to love him,
He was so desperate it's so painful even to read it, when Dawson doesn't seem like to make an effort at all.
