This series… I can’t even put into words what my heart feels when anyone mentions this series or any of the characters within the series. It’s filled with love and heartbreak. All the MMCs are great book bfs, but I did want the female lead to end up with someone other than who she does end up with. For that reason alone is why I give 4 stars instead of the 5 I gave for the first two books. Kate Stewart kills me in all her books. But I love her anyways and she’s an auto buy author for me.

I had to finish it because…how could I not?

At the end: I AM STILL DEVASTATED.

I gave it two stars instead of one because at freaking least no one else died. And there’s a…HEA? I seriously hesitate to use that term here. It’s more like HEA-adjacent.

Maybe this is a personal problem, but I hold a grudge like nobody’s business. You can’t just make me love a character—OR FREAKING TWO—and then kill one off and marry off the other. YOU JUST CAN’T. Not okay, Kate Stewart. Not okay!

This series slaughtered me. I am beyond repair. The end.

UGH okay so the thing about these books is they get better in the last like. Quarter??? (Spoilers)

Tobias is still my enemy I don't CAREEEE

It feels like it took me forever to read this book a lot of it was boring tbh I didnt care about their life in virginia lol

I liked the flashbacks because Dom and Sean are so.... .......

Anyways

I feel like she should have rode him out more?? She let him come back to her house THE FIRST NIGHT

idk maybe I'm holding the grudge too hard but I really don't forgive him lol

I miss Dom I wish we got more of him

Sean's pov actually killed me tho

Also I love Tyler so much why didn't we get his happy ending?????

Okay I'm editing this to say I definitely feel like the writing makes you FEEL something. Like I'm sad Dom is dead and that the two of them (Tobias and Cecelia) felt so alone for so long and when reading about their love I could FEEL it.

I just think theyre both stupid idiots and that she deserved better hehe
